This is another Timeslips story by some Adult Day program participants. Timeslips is a story-creating program that allows people to create a group story based on an image that is given to them. This story is the first Sky Cliff story. They did a fantastic job!
“The Shy Boy”
The Story of Nathaniel Alex Semenov
He doesn’t look shy. He has a little hair on his head. He looks like a happy baby. Sometimes he likes to be called Ted II, but sometimes he likes to be called Nathaniel II. He looks like he’s having fun.
He’s sitting in a leather purse, or maybe a Dr.’s bag. He’s somewhere between six months and one year old. He has the cutest little button nose anyone has ever seen. Even cuter than Ted’s.
He’s a smart baby because he climbed into the bag all by himself. He has a beautiful smile, and he has some teeth. He has blue eyes.
He’s full of mischief. Maybe he’s in his mother’s bag. He wants to go to work with her so the babysitter won’t torment him. Maybe he’s just hiding and pulling a prank on his mom.
Maybe the photographer put him there to make him look cute Maybe the photographer wants people to think he’s being shipped to another country.
The baby might be looking for his M&Ms, or his Skittles. He looks like a future Baptist Minister.
His dad might be away taking the car to the garage, or he might be on a business trip. His sisters are on vacation. Maybe the dog is watching him.
He has wise eyes and he looks so innocent, but he might be looking for trouble – like Ted.
The photographer took the picture and the baby sighed and said , “Thank Goodness. I’m glad that’s over.”
You better believe he scrambled out of there and no one could catch him as he crawled away. Maybe he crawled to his crib, or to his mom, or even to the door so that he could go find some mischief. As soon as his mom’s back was turned, he took off.
He either went to his bed (where he might be hiding), or he might have gone to the garage to play with his dad’s tools. Maybe he’s hiding in the bathroom under the sink.
Mom had a fit and she went looking for him, and she was a little worried. Oh Boy!
Mom called the Daddy. Alex Nathaniel wet his pants. He started crying for his mom and dad and they found him.
